Now Hiring - Sales Associate (Outdoor Power Equipment) in Farmington, NY

Essential Duties

· Receive and maintain inventory, including merchandising, tagging, and displaying products.

· Process sale in business software and submit required documents to accounting department.

· Coordinate delivery and/or pick up of equipment.

· Generate leads, respond to inquiries, and sell products.

· Assist customer with obtaining financing. Process credit applications through financing company. Educate customers on financing options.

· Become educated with product lines and proficient with their features and benefits.

· Process warranty registration on behalf of customers.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Strong interpersonal skills.

· Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Accuracy is a must.

· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

· Ability to perform basic math; perform operations using units of currency, measurements and understanding percentages;

· Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, one-on-one and within a group.

· Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere and treat others with respect and consideration.

· Follow all Company policies and procedures.

· Position involves working some Saturdays.

Physical requirements

Must have the physical ability to stand for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally, sitting for extended periods of time, extending and elevating arms into different positions.
